Eligibility for All

  1. The applicant must be aware of the rules and regulations around safety, legal and environment.
  2. The applicant’s age must be 18 years or above.
  3. All applications will be reviewed by the SRFSB Team within 48 hours. 

 

Terms & Conditions of Delegation

  1. By applying for Delegation, you are confirming that you meet the eligibility to be accredited as an  SRFSB Delegate. The submission/registration and payment of an application does not guarantee Delegation.
  2. The SRFSB reserves the right, at any time, to withdraw your Delegation should you not provide enough evidence to confirm eligibility.
  3. By submitting your Delegation form and attending the festival you agree to abide by the SRFSB BENGALURU BENGALI KANNADA FILM FESTIVAL Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct.
  4. Passes are unique to an individual and non-transferrable.
  5. Accredited passes give access to the venues, events and screenings associated with the relevant delegate pass. For the entire duration of the programme of the SRFSB, an accredited pass is mandatory for delegates to gain entry.
  6. Any person without a pass will be refused entry. Passes used by anyone other than the accredited delegate will have the Delegation cancelled without refund. Copying or imitation of accredited passes will result in cancellation without refund.
  7. Any company or person with any outstanding debt to the SRFSB will have their Delegation access denied until the debt has been paid.
  8. Any theft or loss of an accredited festival pass should be reported to the SRFSB Team immediately. The issuing of a new pass will only be as a PDF file. The SRFSB reserves the right to refuse a replacement.
  9. SRFSB delegates will only be issued a pass after providing proof of eligibility (proof of age, or of enrolment in a relevant course or centre of learning).  Those applying for Delegation via validated institutions, with prior arrangement from the SRFSB, will be issued PDF passes after payment.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

  1. No refund/cancellation for the donated amount by any donor will not be entertained, the online donations through the online payment gateway.
  2. No cash or refund of money will be allowed.
  3. Any request for cancellations and refund of online donations once duly placed, shall not be entertained under any circumstances. No cash or refund of money will be allowed after completing the online donation. We therefore request you to be sure before you donate.
  4. Once received the donation will not be refunded to the donor. No cancellation to be made. The donation will be used for organizing, undertaking, conducting, encouraging, and promoting plethora of National and International films to propagate film culture in the city of Bangalore.
  5. If your order has failed, any amount that was debited from your bank account will be refunded back to that account within 7 working days.

 

Festival Schedule

We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify the Festival Schedule, with or without notice to the Delegates. Any such modification will be effective immediately.

 

Festival access and embargo

  1. There is no guarantee that accredited delegates will obtain entry to any screenings or events during the entirety of the SRFSB BENGALURU BENGALI KANNADA FILM FESTIVAL. Entry is subject to availability.
  2. In line with the SRFSB’s Sustainability Pledge, your pass is digital and will be sent via email. We encourage all delegates to use a PDF pass, however a printed pass can also be used.
  3. The accredited festival pass (PDF or physical) must be shown for inspection at the cinema entrance or Delegate Services desk and scanned to validate entry.
  4. Priority access at public screenings is given to public patrons and ticket holders. Access with a festival pass is strictly subject to availability, and at the discretion of festival staff.
  5. All delegates agree that they will not publish reviews of or any comments on films receiving their world premieres at the SRFSB BENGALURU BENGALI KANNADA FILM FESTIVAL until after the first official public festival screening — this applies to any form of review or comments, including brief impressions or quotes on social media (Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc.).

 

Copyright materials

Any person applying for Delegation grants the SRFSB the non-exclusive right and licence throughout the screenings and the festival to use any submitted materials, including the photos submitted within the Delegation process for the SRFSB BENGALURU BENGALI KANNADA FILM FESTIVAL badge and, if applicable, the delegate directory and any such uses shall not be in breach of any third-party intellectual property rights.  The SRFSB BENGALURU BENGALI KANNADA FILM FESTIVAL reserves the right to refuse Delegation which makes unauthorised use of copyrighted material at any point.

 

Data protection and publication of information

  1. Personal data submitted during the application process will be stored securely and used only for the fulfilment of your Delegation. Data is retained solely for evaluation purposes and invitation to accredit at next year’s festival, except where you have specifically consented to other uses.  Please find a link to the SRFSB Privacy Policy.
  2. Information will be uploaded to Razorpay platforms to register to use these services.
  3. We may publish partial information (as outlined below) in printed and electronic form to facilitate Delegate networking, as per your instructions. 
  4. Your name, phone numbers and email address may be included in the SRFSB Delegates Directory.
  5. Your name, company name and your viewing information of Press & Industry screenings and digital library viewings may be shared with the film rights holders, as per the consent outlined on your form. This information will be made available to the film rights holder of the Press & Industry screening(s) you attend only. Your phone numbers, email addresses and postal address will not be shared.
  6. By agreeing to the terms and conditions the applicant agrees that SRFSB can use their photos, videos, and written feedback from the festival to post on its website, FB page, Instagram or in any other web domains for the promotion.
  7. A request to revoke consent may be submitted at any time by contacting the Industry Office.
  8. You have the right to access information held about you and can request to view such information by emailing [email protected].

 

Festival anti-piracy policy

  1. Unauthorised streaming or recording is prohibited. Cameras are not permitted in venue screenings and recording sound, taking pictures or filming will result in immediate expulsion. You are not permitted to post or publish screenshots or photos of virtual screeners on social media or anywhere online.
  2. Advanced security measures such as forensic and visible watermarking are in place to prevent and track piracy for online screenings, and if caught legal action will be pursued and delegate access will be permanently revoked.
  3. If the SRFSB authorises any photographer or filmmaker to record during a screening or event, SRFSB attendees’ consent to the possible inclusion of their image and sound recording and permit use of these for publicity purposes without any claim to remuneration.

 

Code of conduct

  1. We are committed to providing an environment that is as welcoming and accessible as possible, and inclusive for all festival guests and attendees, team members and volunteers.
  2. SRFSB does not tolerate harassment or harmful behaviour in any form. The SRFSB guidance and principles seek to professionalise behaviour and conduct within the event.
  3. By attending the SRFSB you agree to abide by the SRFSB Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct.
  4. Harassment can include, but is not limited to:
  5.  abusive comments and insults
  6.  prejudice (for example, related to gender identity and expression, sexuality, age, race, religion, belief, disability, or socio-economic background)
  7.  deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
  8.  unwelcome touching or sexual attention
  9.  invasions of private space and personal boundaries
  10.  violence or aggression
  11.  harassing photography or recording
  12.  sustained disruption of talks or other events
  13.  advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour

 

If behaviour falls short of our code of conduct

  1. Anyone violating these policies will be asked to stop and are expected to comply immediately, and at the discretion of the organisers or any of their representatives may be expelled from the event (without refund) and be ineligible to attend any future screenings or in future years.
  2. We encourage all attendees to be active bystanders. During the festival, if you are made to feel unsafe or unwelcome, notice someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, you can tell a member of our staff, volunteer, or security teams. They will help or find someone who can. Every event will have a SRFSB representative in attendance. Our team can be identified by their badges or t-shirts.
  3. If you tell us about an incident, your immediate safety will be our first priority. We will listen from a position of belief and keep what you say in confidence until and if agreed otherwise and can recommend relevant support agencies and services.

Terms & Conditions of Volunteers

  1. The applicant must be aware of the rules and regulations around safety, legal and environment.
  2. The applicant’s age must be 18 years or above.
  3. By agreeing to the terms and conditions the applicant agrees that SRFSB can use their photos, videos and written feedback from the festival to post on its website, FB page, Instagram or in any other web domains for the promotion.
  4. The applicant should not take any money/services in the name of society.
  5. The applicant should know and agree that SRFSB will not be responsible of any kind of Lost/Theft of money, baggage and personal things of him/her.
  6. The applicant must follow the dress code as updated by the SRFSB Executive committee.
  7. The applicant should not disclose any confidential information(celebrity/guests contact number etc) outside the society without prior approval of the SRFSB Executive committee.
  8. The applicant should not represent themselves as SRFSB official in any other program outside SRFSB without prior approval of theSRFSB Executive committee.
  9. The applicant is required to promote all posts with “public” tag related to the Bengaluru Bengali Kannada Film Festival 2023 on their social media platform as guided by the SRFSB Executive Body. They also need to update their Facebook cover photo provided by SRFSB for the entire duration of festival.
  10. The applicant must be present in the festival premises during the festival days
  11. The applicant must participate in all the training programme and meetings hosted by SRFSB.
  12. The applicant must not mention anything about SRFSB in any political forum or any other place for their political interest.
  13. The applicant must follow official volunteer what’s app group to get all the necessary information.
  14. The applicant is encouraged to distribute minimum 15 delegation pass to film enthusiasts.
  15. The applicant must not publish or share any doctored information, images related to SRFSB
